If you continue to say one thing and expect that you will get another is insane thought. It is like planting corn and expecting to get watermelon. Or like driving on the road to Oklahoma City when you want to go to San Antonio. Judge your words.
Luke 1:
67 And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying,
68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,
69 And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;
70 As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:
71 That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;
72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;
73 The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,
Gal 3:29 Tells us that it is a covenant oath to you and me, performed on the cross in Christ Jesus
74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,
NO FEAR HERE - Delivered from enemies and those who hate us. The Devil is our enemy not people. Where is the fear? Terrorism is planed organized use of fear as a weapon. If there is no fear, there is no weapon.
All selfishness is fear based. It has to have fear to function. You fear what you do not have when you are selfish. Satan can use that. Again if there is no fear there is no selfishness, no shame. The Devil tries to persecute people by shame.
Luke 8: 49-50
49 While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.
You messed it up forget it. We know you can not do anything.
50 But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
He told him not to fear it, believe and you shall be made whole (shalom). Shalom is translated many ways. One way is nothing missing, nothing broken. Jesus said my shalom I give to you...
Fear tolerated is faith contaminated.
2 Timothy 1
10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
Christ has abolished death already. It only took one man to bring sin in to the world and death by sin. From that moment on, death reigned. It does not matter who you were.
John 3:
12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven,...
No one had gone to heaven!
Luke 16
19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
These were actual people that the people probably knew. Jesus was not making this up.
21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
Abraham protected the beggar.
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments,...
He was in fear.
...and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
He was not looking into heaven..
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus,...
He still wants Lazarus to wait on him. He was in torment - in fear, and still he wants Lazarus to fix the problems.
...that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
The tongue in hell is like a constant flame, and pain. You will have a spiritual tongue that is with you from eternity. It uses your physical tongue to release faith (or fear). Lazarus could not have been in heaven, they were near each other.
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember....
Your memory is part of your spirit, not your brain, and will be with you for eternity.
...that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
Every person up to the resurection of Jesus had to go to one compartment or the other and could not cross over. Why? No one was born again. They were saved, but they could not be in heaven.
What happened to those people?
Matthew 27
50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
Notice that the bodies of the saints arose.
I Samuel 28
7 Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor.
8 And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night: and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me him up, whom I shall name unto thee.
Bring him UP not down, they had no concept of going to heaven.
9 And the woman said unto him, Behold, thou knowest what Saul hath done, how he hath cut off those that have familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land: wherefore then layest thou a snare for my life, to cause me to die?
10 And Saul sware to her by the LORD, saying, As the LORD liveth, there shall no punishment happen to thee for this thing.
11 Then said the woman, Whom shall I bring up unto thee? And he said, Bring me up Samuel.
12 And when the woman saw Samuel, she cried with a loud voice: and the woman spake to Saul, saying, Why hast thou deceived me? for thou art Saul.
13 And the king said unto her, Be not afraid: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth.
14 And he said unto her, What form is he of? And she said, An old man cometh up; and he is covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground, and bowed himself.
15 And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up?...
He came up from the upper regions of hell. Notice also that Samuel still had his mantle on. That mantle represents his anointing. His ministry was valid in paradise, at Abrahams bosom.
So we have proof that when you died you went to hell before Jesus came to change it.
Acts 2:
24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death:...
Amplified says liberating him from the pangs of death... Jesus was under the preassure of the pains of death for a time.
...because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:
26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
Ephesisans 4
8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity F8 captive, and gave gifts unto men.
9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
Jesus went down into the earth.
10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
Death reigned, the law of death had never been broken, so you went to hell in one of the two compartments. Jesus was always in faith, never fear. He did not sin.
Isa 53 says that God laid on Him our sins and sicknesses and fears, but Jesus did not have sin in normal life. Jesus bore them for us. God laid it on Him, Jesus accepted it on to Himself by faith. We walk from death to life, Jesus walked from life to death.
At that point, if only one man could go into hell and get out, the law of death is broken and Jesus did it. And He did it by faith. No one person has born the punishment for all sin, save Jesus. If He had not, then we would have to take it on us. He bore it all, and did it by faith.
Now for a Bible definition of fear. Fear is faith in death.
The fear of death connects you to the death you fear. Fear is the connector.
Hebrews 2
14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Fear of death is the master fear. All other fear comes under that.
Romans 8
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear;...
When there is fear in your life there is bondage there. Do not speak the fear, speak the faith.
...but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Cry out to God what he has for you. Thank Him for it. We have hope, we are not orphans. Now go back to verse 1.
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
We are free from the law of sin and death. We have been redeemed from the fear of death, it has no power over you. What is there.. sickness disease, poverty, doubt, etc.
What is under law of Life.... tounges, holy Spirit, power, authority, etc.
John 17
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
My Father loves me just as much as He loves Jesus.
26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
The love with which God loves Jesus is in you!
